Duties and responsibilities Responsible for customer order entries & management, liaising with the demand planners for stock availability, timely allocation/reservation of stocks.
Managing inventory levels and identifying optimum order quantity
Managing for Timely order processing & deliveries
Organising & handling weekly stock taking as well as quarterly and yearly full stock counts to reconcile physical quantity and system quantity.
Managing & handling the contractual documents required for the specific customer/country: i.e., order acknowledgement, Bill of lading, Bill of Entry commercial invoice, packing list, delivery advice, LPO, BPO etc
Receiving shipments, verifying against the purchase orders for accuracy.
Responsible to enter received shipments into inventory using the software. Ability to communicate proactively and effectively with suppliers, retailers, customers etc. to achieve profitable deals and mutual satisfaction
Preparing and maintaining accurate and timely inventory reports
Ensure inventory accuracy and integrity by performing weekly and monthly inventory reconciliations.
Maintaining track of all the shipments and tackling issues effectively enabling to make the supply chain as efficient as possible. Experience, Qualification & Skills Degree in business administration, supply chain management or relevant field
Minimum 2 – 3 yrs. of work experience in the same role within any trading company
Experience in customer service will be appreciated
Ability to work with little supervision and track multiple processes
Computer-savvy with a working knowledge of logistics software (ERP)
Outstanding organizational and coordination abilities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
Efficient organization, prioritization and time management skills
Self-motivated with strong analytic skills
Proven ability to handle highly sensitive and confidential matters
