Processing Orders: Cashiers take orders from customers, either in person, over the phone, or through online ordering systems. They accurately input orders into the restaurant’s POS (Point of Sale) system.

Handling Payments: Cashiers accept various forms of payment, including cash, credit cards, debit cards, and mobile payments. They calculate bills, issue receipts, and return change accurately.

Customer Interaction: Cashiers often serve as the first point of contact for customers. They greet patrons, answer questions about the menu or restaurant policies, and provide assistance as needed.

Maintaining Cleanliness: Cashiers may be responsible for keeping their workstation clean and organized. This includes wiping down surfaces, restocking supplies, and ensuring that menus and promotional materials are neatly displayed.

Collaborating with Other Staff: Cashiers work closely with kitchen staff, servers, and managers to ensure orders are processed efficiently and customers receive their meals in a timely manner.
