Responsibilities:
Coordinate and oversee all logistics operations, including the transportation and delivery of goods.
Develop and implement logistics strategies to optimize efficiency and reduce costs.
Manage inventory levels and ensure the timely replenishment of stock.
Liaise with suppliers, freight forwarders, and transportation companies to arrange shipments and negotiate terms.
Monitor and track shipments to ensure on-time delivery and resolve any issues that arise.
Prepare and maintain accurate documentation for all logistics activities, including shipping, receiving, and inventory records.
Conduct regular audits of logistics processes and implement improvements as needed.
Collaborate with internal departments, such as procurement, sales, and customer service, to ensure seamless operations.
Ensure compliance with local and international regulations, including customs requirements.
Analyze logistics data and provide reports to management on key performance metrics.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Logistics Officer or in a similar role within the logistics or supply chain industry.
Strong knowledge of logistics and supply chain principles, practices, and regulations.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Effective communication and negotiation abilities.
Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office suite.
Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
