Logistics Co-ordinator vacancy in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate Shipment Operations:
• Plan, schedule, and oversee the transportation of goods from origin to destination.
• Monitor shipping schedules and ensure timely deliveries.
• Inventory and Stock Management:
• Track inventory levels to ensure adequate supply.
• Work closely with warehouse teams to manage inbound and outbound shipments.
Vendor and Carrier Communication:
• Liaise with suppliers, freight carriers, and other vendors to negotiate rates and resolve any shipping issues.
• Maintain relationships with third-party logistics providers (3PLs).
Documentation and Compliance:
• Prepare shipping and customs documentation, including bills of lading, invoices, and export/import permits.
• Ensure compliance with international, federal, and local regulations related to transportation and trade.
Problem Resolution:
• Handle shipping delays, damaged goods, or logistical issues promptly.
• Develop contingency plans to address potential disruptions.
Tracking and Reporting:
• Monitor shipments and update stakeholders on status.
• Analyze logistics performance metrics and prepare regular reports for management.
Cost Optimization:
• Identify opportunities to reduce logistics costs without compromising quality or delivery schedules.
• Conduct periodic reviews of carrier rates and contracts.
Collaboration:
• Work closely with other departments, such as sales, procurement, and production, to align logistics with organizational goals.
• Act as a point of contact for customer inquiries related to delivery and logistics.

Skills and Qualifications:
Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration.
Experience:
• 1–3 years of experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain roles.
Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in logistics management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, TMS).
• Familiarity with inventory management systems and tracking tools.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements for shipping and customs.
