Job Position: Host/Hostess

Job Description:

We are looking for a warm and personable Host/Hostess to join our team in Dubai. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a key role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring that each guest has a pleasant dining experience from the moment they arrive.

Responsibilities:

Greet guests warmly as they arrive and escort them to their tables.
Manage reservations and waitlists efficiently, ensuring accurate seating arrangements.
Provide guests with menus and inform them of any specials or promotions.
Assist in answering phones, taking reservations, and providing information about the restaurant.
Coordinate with the kitchen and waitstaff to ensure smooth service flow.
Monitor the dining area to ensure guest satisfaction and address any concerns promptly.
Assist with managing guest inquiries, complaints, or special requests professionally.
Keep the host/hostess station and waiting area clean, organized, and presentable.
Maintain knowledge of the menu, including ingredients, preparation methods, and special dietary requirements.
Assist with seating arrangements for large groups or special events as needed.
Provide support to the waitstaff during busy periods by helping with service tasks.
Handle guest payments and process transactions when necessary.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the dining area.
Requirements:

Previous experience as a Host/Hostess or in a similar customer-facing role is preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A friendly and approachable demeanor with a focus on guest satisfaction.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks at once.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Proficiency in English; additional languages are a plus.
Knowledge of reservation systems is an advantage.
A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
