Job Title: Heavy / Light Vehicle Driver

Job Overview:
We are looking for experienced and safety-conscious drivers to join our team as Heavy/Light Vehicle Drivers. The successful candidates will be responsible for transporting goods and/or passengers safely and efficiently, while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.

Responsibilities:
Operate heavy or light vehicles, such as trucks, vans, or buses, to transport goods and/or passengers to designated locations.
Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and securement of items.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition.
Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and company policies while driving.
Maintain accurate records of vehicle mileage, fuel consumption, and trip logs.
Report any mechanical issues or accidents to the appropriate authorities.
Provide excellent customer service to passengers and clients, if applicable.
Follow safety protocols and procedures to ensure the safety of passengers, cargo, and other road users.

Requirements:
Valid driver’s license appropriate for the type of vehicle being operated (e.g., heavy vehicle license for trucks, light vehicle license for vans or buses).
Proven experience as a driver, preferably in a commercial or transportation capacity.
Clean driving record with no history of traffic violations or accidents.
Knowledge of road safety regulations and defensive driving techniques.
Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects if required.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays if needed.
