Greeting Guests: The receptionist is often the first point of contact for guests. They greet visitors warmly, make them feel welcome, and set the tone for their dining experience.

Managing Reservations: They handle reservations by phone, online, or in-person. This includes confirming, modifying, and canceling bookings as needed.

Seating Guests: The receptionist assigns tables to guests, manages the seating chart, and coordinates with the waitstaff to ensure that tables are ready and properly set.

Handling Guest Inquiries: They respond to questions about the menu, restaurant policies, special events, and other concerns. This involves providing accurate information and offering recommendations.

Managing Waitlists: If the restaurant is busy, the receptionist manages the waitlist, estimates wait times, and keeps guests informed about their status.
