Role and Responsibilities:

Safely operate light vehicles, such as cars and vans, to transport passengers and goods to their destinations.
Follow traffic laws and regulations, as well as company policies and procedures, to ensure safe and efficient driving practices.
Provide courteous and professional service to passengers, assisting with loading and unloading luggage or cargo as needed.
Plan and optimize routes to minimize travel time and fuel consumption while adhering to delivery schedules and customer requirements.
Maintain cleanliness and regular maintenance of the vehicle, including performing routine inspections, refueling, and reporting any issues to management.
Keep accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, and vehicle maintenance activities, submitting reports as required.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers, supervisors, and customers to provide updates on delivery status and address any concerns or issues that arise.
Adhere to company safety policies and procedures, including wearing seat belts, using hands-free devices, and securing loads properly.
Represent the company in a professional manner at all times, maintaining a positive image and upholding customer service standards.
Requirements:

Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Proven experience as a light vehicle driver, with knowledge of local roads and traffic patterns.
Excellent driving skills, with the ability to operate vehicles safely in various weather and road conditions.
Strong customer service orientation, with good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to lift and carry heavy items and perform physical tasks associated with loading and unloading cargo.
Attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols.
Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
