Description

Responsibilities:

Coordinate and manage import and export shipments, including documentation, customs clearance, and transportation arrangements.

Ensure compliance with import/export regulations, including customs requirements, tariffs, and trade agreements, to minimize delays and avoid penalties.

Prepare and review shipping documents, such as commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, and certificates of origin, to ensure accuracy and completeness.

Monitor and update import/export records, tracking systems, and databases to maintain accurate and up-to-date information on shipments and inventory levels.

Provide support and guidance to customers and suppliers regarding import/export procedures, documentation requirements, and shipping regulations.

Stay informed about changes in import/export laws, regulations, and industry trends, and ensure compliance with relevant standards and guidelines.

Requirements:

Previous experience in import/export coordination or logistics operations, preferably in a trading or manufacturing company.

Strong knowledge of import/export regulations, customs procedures, and international trade practices.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
