Job Title: Cargo Loader Operator

Job Overview:
We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced individual to join our team as a Cargo Loader Operator. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating cargo loading equipment to load and unload freight from trucks, ships, or airplanes.

Responsibilities:
Operate cargo loading equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and conveyor belts, to load and unload freight.
Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure the safe handling of cargo and prevent accidents or injuries.
Inspect cargo for damage and ensure proper packaging and labeling.
Secure cargo using straps, chains, or other securing devices to prevent shifting during transport.
Coordinate with truck drivers, dock workers, and other team members to ensure timely and accurate loading and unloading of cargo.
Maintain equipment in good working condition by performing routine inspections and maintenance tasks.
Keep accurate records of cargo movement and inventory levels.
Adhere to company policies and procedures related to cargo handling and safety.

Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Proven experience operating cargo loading equipment, preferably in a warehouse or logistics setting.
Valid forklift operator certification/license.
Knowledge of cargo handling procedures and safety regulations.
Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
