Description

Responsibilities:
– Assist in receiving, unpacking, and sorting incoming shipments of goods and materials.
– Check received items against purchase orders or invoices, and report any discrepancies or damages.
– Label and tag items, and place them in designated storage areas according to inventory procedures.
– Assist in picking, packing, and preparing orders for shipment to customers or other locations.
– Load and unload trucks, vans, or other vehicles using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other equipment as needed.
– Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse by sweeping, mopping, and removing debris.
– Assist in conducting regular inventory counts and reconciling stock levels with inventory records.
– Assist in performing minor repairs and maintenance tasks on warehouse equipment and facilities.
– Follow health and safety guidelines and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
– Collaborate with team members and supervisors to achieve warehouse goals and targets.

Requirements:
– High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in warehouse operations or related field is a plus.
– Prior experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is preferred but not required.
– Ability to operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
– Physical stamina and ability to lift and move heavy objects.
– Attention to detail and accuracy in performing tasks such as counting and labeling.
– Good communication and interpersonal skills.
– Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
– Flexibility to work in shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
– Fluency in English is preferred.
