Job Title: Cashier

Job Overview:
We are currently seeking a friendly and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Cashier. As the first point of contact for our customers, the ideal candidate will provide exceptional service while efficiently processing transactions and maintaining a clean and organized checkout area.

Responsibilities:
Greet customers with a warm and welcoming demeanor.
Scan and process items accurately and efficiently using a cash register or POS system.
Handle cash, credit card, and other forms of payment accurately and securely.
Provide assistance and answer questions regarding pricing, products, and promotions.
Bag items carefully and ensure proper handling to prevent damage.
Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, including cleaning conveyor belts and counters.
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
Follow all company policies and procedures, including those related to cash handling and customer service.

Requirements:
Previous cashier or customer service experience is preferred but not required.
Strong numerical and multitasking skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Attention to detail and accuracy in cash handling.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Basic computer skills.
