Job Title: Warehouse Assistant

Job Overview:
We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and reliable individual to join our team as a Warehouse Assistant. The Warehouse Assistant will play a key role in ensuring the efficient operation of our warehouse by assisting with various tasks including receiving, storing, and distributing goods.

Responsibilities:
Receive incoming shipments and verify contents against purchase orders or invoices.
Inspect received goods for damage and report discrepancies or damages to the Warehouse Supervisor.
Label, tag, and store incoming goods in designated locations within the warehouse.
Assist in picking, packing, and preparing orders for shipment.
Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment, including sweeping, mopping, and disposing of waste.
Perform inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies as needed.
Assist with loading and unloading trucks and containers.

Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is preferred.
Forklift certification is a plus.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to lift and move heavy objects safely.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Basic computer skills for data entry and inventory management.
Flexibility to work in varying temperatures and conditions.
