Description

Responsibilities:

Establish and maintain document control procedures to ensure the accurate and efficient management of all documents, including creation, distribution, retrieval, and archiving.
Receive, review, and process incoming documents, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and compliance with organizational standards and regulatory requirements.
Assign unique identifiers and maintain document numbering, filing, and tracking systems to facilitate document retrieval and version control.
Distribute documents to appropriate individuals or departments and track document status and approvals throughout the review and approval process.
Maintain electronic and physical document repositories, ensuring proper organization, security, and confidentiality of records.
Assist with document formatting, editing, and versioning as needed to ensure consistency and accuracy.
Generate reports and provide regular updates on document status, trends, and metrics to management and project teams.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Document Controller or in a similar role, preferably in a construction, engineering, or project management environment.
Proficiency in document management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
