Description

Responsibilities:

Oversee and manage logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and distribution.
Coordinate with suppliers, carriers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of goods.
Develop and implement logistics strategies to optimize efficiency and reduce costs.
Monitor and track shipments, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up to date.
Resolve any issues or discrepancies related to shipments, deliveries, and inventory.
Maintain accurate records of inventory, shipments, and logistics activities.
Prepare and analyze logistics reports, identifying areas for improvement.
Ensure compliance with local and international regulations regarding logistics and transportation.
Manage and maintain relationships with logistics service providers and suppliers.
Assist in the development and implementation of safety and quality standards for logistics operations.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Logistics Officer or in a similar logistics role.
Strong knowledge of logistics and supply chain management principles.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Effective communication and negotiation abilities.
Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
