Description

Responsibilities:

Assist with receiving incoming shipments, verifying contents against packing slips or invoices, and inspecting for damage or discrepancies.
Unload, unpack, and properly store incoming goods in designated storage areas or shelves.
Prepare and organize inventory for storage, ensuring proper labeling, coding, and placement to facilitate easy retrieval.
Assist with picking and packing orders accurately and efficiently, following order instructions and quality standards.
Use hand trucks, pallet jacks, or other equipment to move and transport materials and products within the warehouse.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, including sweeping, mopping, and disposing of packing materials or debris.
Perform periodic inventory counts and stock checks to reconcile physical inventory with system records.
Assist with loading and unloading trucks, containers, or delivery vehicles as needed.
Comply with safety regulations, procedures, and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
Assist with other warehouse tasks, such as assembly, labeling, repackaging, or inventory control, as assigned by supervisors.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent.
Prior experience working in a warehouse or similar environment is preferred.
Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods.
Basic math skills and attention to detail for counting, sorting, and organizing inventory.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Familiarity with warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks, hand trucks, and forklifts, is an advantage.
