Job Responsibilities:
Data Entry:
Enter data from various source documents into the computer system for storage, processing, and data management purposes.
Ensure the accuracy and integrity of the entered data.
Data Verification:
Verify and correct data where necessary.
Identify and report any discrepancies found in the data.
Database Management:
Maintain and update databases and records with new information as it becomes available.
Retrieve data from the database or electronic files as requested.
Documentation:
Prepare and sort documents/data sheets for data entry.
File and organize paperwork used to enter data.
Confidentiality:
Maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information.
Handle sensitive data with integrity and adherence to data protection policies.
Administrative Support:
Provide administrative support as needed, including answering phones, filing, and other clerical tasks.
Assist in generating reports and summaries as needed.
Quality Control:
Conduct regular quality checks on data entry work.
Ensure data is entered promptly and accurately to maintain data quality standards.
Qualifications:
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Additional qualifications or certification in computer applications or data management can be advantageous.
Experience:
Previous experience in data entry or a related field is preferred but not always required.
Familiarity with office equipment such as computers, scanners, and copiers.
Skills:
Proficient typing skills with a high degree of accuracy.
Strong attention to detail.
Good organizational and time-management skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Language:
Proficiency in English is essential.
Knowledge of Arabic or other languages can be an advantage.
