Job Responsibilities:
Receiving and Inspecting Goods:

Unload, inspect, and record incoming shipments.
Verify the quantity and quality of items received against purchase orders and invoices.
Report any discrepancies or damages to the supervisor.
Storage and Organization:

Organize and store goods in designated areas, ensuring optimal use of space.
Label and keep inventory records up-to-date.
Rotate stock as needed to prevent product obsolescence.
Order Fulfillment:

Pick and pack orders accurately according to delivery notes or purchase orders.
Prepare items for shipment, including labeling and palletizing.
Ensure orders are processed and dispatched on time.
Inventory Management:

Conduct regular stock counts and audits to maintain accurate inventory levels.
Assist in the management of inventory databases and reporting.
Report any stock shortages, excesses, or inventory discrepancies to the supervisor.
Warehouse Maintenance:

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse.
Ensure all equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, are in good working condition.
Adhere to safety and security protocols to prevent accidents and theft.
Documentation and Reporting:

Maintain accurate records of all warehouse activities, including receipts, shipments, and inventory levels.
Prepare and submit reports on inventory status, damaged goods, and other relevant metrics.
Customer Service:

Assist customers and delivery drivers with inquiries and order pickups.
Provide excellent customer service by addressing concerns and resolving issues promptly.
Collaboration:

Work closely with other warehouse staff and departments to ensure smooth operations.
Assist with special projects and tasks as assigned by the warehouse manager.
Qualifications:
Education:

High school diploma or equivalent.
Additional certifications in logistics, supply chain management, or related fields can be advantageous.
Experience:

Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics role is preferred.
Familiarity with warehouse operations and inventory management systems.
Skills:

Proficient in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
Attention to detail and accuracy in handling inventory and orders.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift and move heavy items (typically up to 50 pounds).
Comfortable with standing, walking, bending, and performing manual labor for extended periods.

Language:

Proficiency in English is essential.
