Job Responsibilities:
Cleaning and Maintenance:
Perform general cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and polishing.
Clean and sanitize bathrooms, kitchens, and other living areas.
Change bed linens, make beds, and replace towels and toiletries.
Laundry and Ironing:
Wash, dry, and fold laundry.
Iron and press clothing and linens.
Organizing:
Organize and tidy up rooms, closets, and storage areas.
Ensure all areas are neat and presentable.
Stocking Supplies:
Replenish household supplies, such as toilet paper, soap, and cleaning products.
Keep an inventory of cleaning and household supplies and report when they need to be restocked.
Special Cleaning Projects:
Perform deep cleaning tasks, such as carpet shampooing, window washing, and oven cleaning.
Handle special cleaning projects as requested by the employer.
Basic Maintenance:
Report any maintenance issues or repairs needed.
Assist with minor household repairs, if capable.
Customer Service:
Provide courteous and professional service to residents or guests.
Respond to requests promptly and efficiently.
Safety and Compliance:
Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe environment.
Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and correctly.
Qualifications:
Experience:
Previous experience as a housekeeper or in a similar role is preferred.
Experience in cleaning and maintaining different types of surfaces and materials.
Skills:
Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
Good time-management and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Basic knowledge of cleaning products and safe usage.
