Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused individual to join our IT team as an IT Support Staff. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support to our employees, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and ensuring the smooth operation of our IT systems.
Responsibilities:
Provide first-line technical support to end-users via phone, email, or in person.
Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues in a timely manner.
Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and other IT equipment.
Set up user accounts and permissions, as well as troubleshoot account-related issues.
Assist with the setup and maintenance of network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and access points.
Collaborate with other IT team members to escalate and resolve complex technical issues.
Document support procedures, solutions, and system configurations.
Stay up-to-date with technology trends and best practices.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Proven experience in providing IT support in a corporate environment.
Strong knowledge of Windows and/or Mac operating systems.
Familiarity with networking concepts, protocols, and troubleshooting.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other common business applications.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively under pressure.
IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician) are a plus.
