Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Storekeeper to manage inventory and ensure the smooth operation of our store or warehouse. The ideal candidate will oversee stock levels, handle deliveries, and maintain accurate inventory records.
Key Responsibilities:
Receive, inspect, and record incoming stock and materials.
Organize and store goods in an orderly and accessible manner.
Monitor and maintain inventory levels to prevent shortages.
Prepare and issue materials or products as required.
Perform regular stock counts and update inventory systems.
Ensure the store/warehouse is clean, safe, and well-organized.
Report any discrepancies or damaged goods to management.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in inventory management or a similar role is preferred.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Basic computer skills for inventory tracking (preferred).
Physical ability to lift and move heavy items.
Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
