About the Role
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Storekeeper to manage inventory, ensure proper storage of goods, and maintain an efficient supply chain. The ideal candidate will have strong record-keeping skills and the ability to work independently.
Key Responsibilities:
Receive, inspect, and record incoming goods and materials.
Organize and store items systematically to optimize space and accessibility.
Maintain accurate inventory records and update stock levels regularly.
Monitor stock usage and reorder supplies when necessary.
Prepare and issue materials or goods to relevant departments.
Conduct regular inventory audits and report discrepancies.
Ensure cleanliness and safety within the storage area.
Collaborate with procurement, logistics, and other teams to ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in inventory management are a plus.
Proven experience as a Storekeeper or in a similar role.
Knowledge of inventory management systems and procedures.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Ability to lift and move heavy items as needed.
Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
