Job Title: Picking and Packaging Specialist

Responsibilities:
Retrieve products from inventory based on picking lists or customer orders.
Ensure accuracy and completeness of picked items by double-checking against order specifications.
Package items securely and appropriately for shipping or distribution.
Label packages with shipping information and apply appropriate documentation.
Use packaging equipment and tools safely and effectively.
Organize and maintain inventory storage areas to facilitate efficient picking and packing operations.
Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts to maintain accurate stock levels.
Report any discrepancies, damages, or quality issues to supervisors or managers.
Follow safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries.
Collaborate with warehouse team members to meet daily picking and packing targets.

Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in warehouse operations is a plus.
Previous experience in picking, packing, or warehouse operations preferred.
Ability to lift and move heavy objects and packages.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in picking and packing tasks.
Basic math skills and ability to read and interpret picking lists and shipping labels.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Familiarity with warehouse equipment and tools, such as pallet jacks and hand trucks.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Flexibility to work different shifts and overtime as needed.
