Job Title: Warehouse Assistant

Job Overview:
We are currently seeking a motivated and reliable individual to join our team as a Warehouse Assistant. The Warehouse Assistant will play a key role in maintaining an organized and efficient warehouse environment, assisting with inventory management, and ensuring timely order fulfillment.

Responsibilities:
Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments of goods and materials.
Sort and store items in designated warehouse locations according to inventory procedures.
Assist in picking, packing, and preparing orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Perform regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies as needed.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of warehouse space, including shelving units and storage areas.
Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks safely and efficiently.
Assist with loading and unloading trucks for deliveries and pickups.
Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment for all warehouse staff.

Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is preferred.
Ability to lift and carry heavy objects and perform physical tasks in a warehouse setting.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in inventory management.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Basic computer skills for inventory tracking and data entry.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Forklift certification is a plus.
