Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Document Controller to join our team. The Document Controller will be responsible for managing, controlling, and organizing company documents, ensuring accuracy, quality, and compliance with relevant standards and regulations. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and a proactive approach to document management.

Responsibilities:
• Establish and maintain document control procedures in accordance with company policies and industry standards.
• Manage the lifecycle of documents, including creation, revision, review, approval, distribution, and archiving.
• Ensure all documents are accurately labeled, indexed, and stored in appropriate repositories.
• Implement and maintain document control software or systems for efficient document management.
• Collaborate with internal departments to collect, organize, and maintain documents related to projects, contracts, and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor document changes and updates, ensuring version control and document integrity.
• Perform regular audits to verify document accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
• Provide training and support to employees on document management procedures and systems.
• Assist in the development and improvement of document control processes and workflows.
• Respond to document requests and inquiries from internal and external stakeholders in a timely manner.
• Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive documents and information.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Management, or related field preferred.
• Proven experience as a Document Controller or similar role in a regulated industry.
• Proficiency in document management software and systems (e.g., SharePoint, Documentum, FileNet).
• Strong understanding of document control principles, practices, and standards.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
